Well it has been over 6 months from our last post and all I can say is I am sorry. We have been so busy these last few months. Howie is a few days shy of 2 1/2 years old. He has grown so much. I was looking at last winter pictures the other day and can't believe how much he has grown. Howie still has a hard time gaining weight, but he is getting taller. We need a 2T size of pants, but even with the adjustable waist they are still to big in the waist. He talks so much now. His favorite saying this week is "whats that mom?" Although he knows what these things are he still has to ask. We have been on a few trips this summer to see my side of the family, which is always fun. Jase, my nephew, is about 7 months younger than Howie, but they have so much fun together. It is so much fun to watch. They don't get to see each other as much as we would like, but once they are together they play non-stop and love being together. We are still working on the potty training, I think it is the hardest thing I have had to teach him yet. I am trying not to force him into anything in fear that he will reject it and make it that much harder. We have added a new member to our family, a new kitten Ace. Howie and Ace play all the time. It is very cute and wears them both out. We have also moved to a new house in August. We love our new house. I am still trying to get pictures for the walls and get everything hung. I was worried about the transition for Howie, but I worried for nothing. He did wonderful. I think he slept better than we did when we first moved. Every one is settling in and enjoying the extra space. Around the same time we moved Howie started pre-school for the first time. He goes Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings. It is perfect. He comes home for lunch and nap, which I like because he sleeps as much as he needs. He LOVES school, puts his back pack on and is ready to go with an hour to spare... He is learning so much and comes home everyday with learning something new and excited about being at school. We love his teacher Mrs. Chris, she is WONDERFUL. She loves all her little kids, but helps me as a parent know what is going on and makes us feel at ease leaving him with her. Howie has also had 3 overnight trips to Nana and Papas too. Each time it goes well, but stays pretty close to Scott and I once he is home. He has a wonderful time there, so it works out well. My mom is coming for a visit next week, to see the new house and visit Howie. We are all excited to see her. There is so much going on that it is hard to keep up with the blog, but I am going to try harder to keep up with it. We have also had a lot of friends come home form Vietnam with there babies, so that is wonderful and more friends traveling soon to get there babies. We are very happy for them and enjoy playing and seeing the little ones. I heard it often before Howie that being a parent is hard, but wonderful. I knew it wouldn't be easy, but I never knew how hard it would be. I LOVE being a mom and there are times that I look at Howie and am amazed that he is my son and that I am a mom. I can't imagine anything more important to me than my family, I didn't know how empty my life was before him.

Do you want to have the best moments in your 3 weeks in Myanmar? There are 3 places you should visit when coming to this beautiful nation. The first place you should come is U Bein bridge in Mandalay. This is the best place to see the sunset in Myanmar. The second place you should come is Inle Lake, the lake is wide until 11km, and long more than 22km, at the 875m above compared to sea level. Come to here you will have a chance to see the floating house on the surface of the water or buy some fresh fruit at the floating market. And last but not least, scared temples as Shwedagon Paya will fulfill your trip with the majestic beauty of itself.
